Description 16 / 20v 4age Silvertop – Thermostat seal This rubber seal slides around the outside of the thermostat much like a grommet. It suits thermostats with the outside diameter of 48mm. Part compatibility – Does not suit the 16V 4age rear wheel drive pump housings. These instead use a gasket between the water inlet pipe and the water pump housing. – Suits: 16V 4age engines that use external thermostats- front wheel drive – Suits 20V 4age Silvertop – does not suit the 20V Blacktop engines – Suits: One of our SQ-Eng 20V RWD conversion kits – The most recent revision (V5-12D) of of our RWD cooling conversion kits use this type of seal however all versions prior to this instead used a gasket and not a rubber seal such as this one.
