Description AE86 / AE71 / T40 / T50 gearbox- Sandwich plate A direct replacement for the OEM sandwich plate as fitted between the engine block and the gearbox bellhousing. Used to both seal off the bellhousing area to protect the clutch / flywheel from contamination but also to properly locate the starter motor. These are made from 1.6mm thick zinc plated steel.
